ABOUT US

 Hello, and welcome!

We are Phil and Robin Malcolm and we are Assemblies of God Missionaries to the children of Africa. We have lived and worked in many  countries across Africa since our appointment in 1998, but we currently live in Lomé, Togo, and work in the nations of West Africa.

Our vision is to see every national church in Africa effectively engaging in ministry to children through evangelism, discipleship, and  compassionate outreach.

Across Africa, the three most common needs in children’s ministry are:

 1.      Trained pastors and teachers

 2.      Curriculum and resources appropriate to the culture and setting

 3.      Space for children’s ministries

Our strategy is to help with each one of these needs as the Lord allows. We regularly teach children’s ministry training seminars for lay-  workers and for pastors and mentor national children’s ministry leaders. We develop curriculum and resources which are creative, affordable  and culturally-appropriate. And we work to help churches find solutions for children’s ministry space.

Phil is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, USA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwest University, and was raised in  Congo and Zimbabwe where his parents served as missionaries. Robin began her ministry to children at the age of 12 in her local church. She  later attended Eastern Washington University, where she studied mathematics and education. Prior to our appointment as missionaries, we  served as children’s pastors in Washington and Oregon states. We have two grown children who both live in the Springfield, MO area.
